Our Services

Pregnancy Testing
Donít get caught up worrying about being pregnant before you are sure. A missed period is the most common indication, but doesnít necessarily mean you are pregnant.

Other common symptoms include:

  • Tender/swollen breasts
  • Food cravings or aversions
  • Frequent urination
  • Nausea/Vomiting
  • Fatigue

Our nurses use medical-grade pregnancy tests that are 99.9 percent accurate. Schedule your FREE appointment today to come in and speak with a medical professional about your symptoms and situation.

Are you considering abortion? It is important to have an ultrasound before making a decision about your pregnancy. Did you know that 1 out of every 4 pregnancies naturally miscarries? Come in for a free ultrasound with us and we can confirm whether you have a viable pregnancy.

Ultrasound is also the most effective way to determine how far along you might be if you are pregnant.

Initial Prenatal Care

Our center is able to offer initial prenatal care for certain eligible women. The nurse will assess at your pregnancy test appointment whether you meet the criteria. Our goal is to provide services that will help our clients get the care they need as soon as they find out they are pregnant.

Parenting Education

For women who choose to parent, we provide parenting education opportunities. Sign up for our Earn While You Learn program, and you can earn baby supplies from our on-site First Things Baby Boutique. These video-based classes are scheduled at your convenience. You do not have to have your pregnancy test at First Choice to participate in this program. If you are pregnant or have a child under the age of two, you are welcome! Just call 334.260.8010 and ask for Jenna, or email her at jenna@firstchoicewmc.com to get started today.

Post-Abortion Support
Many women who have had abortions go on to experience emotional and physical complications, sometimes even many years after their actual abortion procedure. If you have experienced any of these symptoms after an abortion, you might benefit from the post-abortion support group our center offers:
  • Depression
  • Flashbacks
  • Intimacy issues
  • Difficulty bonding
  • Anger
  • Guilt
  • Emotional Numbness
  • Overprotectiveness of your children

Our center offers a completely confidential support group, or one-on-one peer counseling as needed. If you have had an abortion and are interested in learning more, please contact Kathy Kay (kkay@firstchoicemwc.com or 334.260.8010).

Our services are not intended to be a substitute for licensed professional counseling, or for either routine or emergency medical or prenatal care. Individuals who believe they are experiencing a medical emergency should call 9-1-1 and seek care from the nearest emergency room.
